Account Executive – Technical Sales (PT)

About the role

We are seeking an Account Executive – PT to drive revenue and profit growth for Nalco’s Purolite ion exchange resin portfolio across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. The role combines consultative technical sales with strong account leadership, focusing on retention and expansion of strategic customers in water and non‑water sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Spend at least 75% of time contacting and visiting customers and prospects to achieve budgeted sales targets.
• Control expenses in line with the approved budget.
• Prepare complete orders with all required information before processing.
• Develop and propose marketing strategies to promote Purolite brand and resin sales.
• Provide technical support, including project calculations, plant optimization, on‑site interventions, and audits.
• Participate in technical seminars for water treatment and deliver pre‑ and post‑sales assistance.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and segment share.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Life Sciences.
• Minimum 1 year of successful technical or field sales experience.
• Experience in water treatment, specialty chemicals, or related industries preferred.
• Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.

Required skills
