Accountant – Full‑time, Saudi Arabia

About the role

Megarme KSA, a newly established subsidiary of the long‑standing Megarme brand, is seeking a proactive Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle, payroll, tax compliance, project costing and management reporting for its industrial and contracting services operations in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the chart of accounts, accounting system, opening balances and reporting structure.
• Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets and related documentation.
• Process customer invoicing, collections, supplier and subcontractor payments, employee advances and petty cash.
• Prepare monthly and year‑end closing entries, accruals, provisions, depreciation and financial statements.
• Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow, budget forecasts and variance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit queries.
• Manage project cost codes, budgets, billing schedules and track manpower, material and equipment costs per project.
• Generate WIP, progress billing, retention, cost‑to‑complete and project margin reports in line with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi tax, social security and e‑invoicing regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of accounting experience in industrial & contracting services, with at least 2 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements (ZATCA, VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, GOSI, Mudad/WPS, Qawaem, Saudi Business Centre, e‑invoicing).
• Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines and make sound financial decisions.
