Accounts Payable Specialist – Luxury Resort

About the role

Raffles The Red Sea, a new luxury resort in Umluj, Saudi Arabia, is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team. You will ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors while supporting the pre‑opening financial operations of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and vendor information.
• Reconcile account statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute electronic transfers and other payments.
• Assist with month‑end closing procedures.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve account issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and maintain financial accuracy.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and analyses as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian tax regulations and accounting standards (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with electronic payment systems and online banking platforms.
