AD & Messaging Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AD & Messaging Engineer (L2/L3) to manage and support our enterprise Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and file/DFS services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Active Directory environments, including users, groups, OUs, permissions, and policies.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy (GPO) configurations.
• Administer and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services.
• Support Microsoft PKI, certificates, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange environments and manage mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and mail flow.
• Support Microsoft 365 messaging and identity services, troubleshooting email delivery and authentication issues.
• Manage Windows file servers and DFS/DFS‑R environments.
• Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle activities.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance, and implement security hardening recommendations.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams, and collaborate with cybersecurity, network, cloud, service‑desk, and application teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure administration/engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, Windows Server, PKI, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and File Services/DFS.
• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise Microsoft environments and understanding of identity, authentication, access control, and Windows security.
• Preferred experience with PowerShell scripting and automation, and experience in multi‑domain/site enterprises.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Messaging Administrator Associate, or Windows Server certifications.
