AI Engineer – Machine Learning & Generative AI

About the role

HALA is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy cutting‑edge artificial intelligence solutions that power its fintech products. You will work across product, engineering, data, and business teams to turn AI concepts into real‑world tools for SMEs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI, machine learning, and generative AI models.
• Build AI‑powered tools such as chatbots, copilots, and workflow automation.
• Prepare and process data for model training, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate AI models into products and internal systems via APIs.
• Fine‑tune, evaluate, and monitor model performance.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance standards.
• Document AI models, workflows, and technical designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or software engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving and collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit‑learn.
• Knowledge of large language models, NLP, embeddings, vector databases and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms and production deployment.
