Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

The Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing air conditioning and cooling systems so they operate efficiently and safely. The position is full-time in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Replace defective components and ensure proper system performance.
• Monitor refrigerant levels and handle refrigerants safely in line with regulations.
• Test and calibrate HVAC equipment and controls.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance team members as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certificate in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC or a related field.
• Previous experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits and refrigeration principles.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Basic communication skills in English.
