Analyzer Technician – Technician IV (Petrochemical)

About the role

The Analyzer Technician (Technician IV) will ensure that plant process analyzers operate reliably, delivering accurate measurements with minimal downtime. Based in Jubail, you will work on a range of online analyzer systems supporting the petrochemical and refinery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance (PM/CM) on online analyzers according to plant requirements.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on‑site or in the workshop.
• Maintain analyzer performance within specification for response time, accuracy, precision and MTBF.
• Manage calibration standards, spare parts and consumables for all analyzer equipment.
• Participate in performance review meetings and suggest improvements based on maintenance data.
• Ensure compliance with EHSS guidelines, Tasnee policies and Responsible Care standards.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Industrial Chemistry, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with petrochemical/refinery online analyzer systems.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently in an industrial environment.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of O₂, TOC, IR, conductivity, pH, silica, and CEMS analyzers.
• Experience with Gas Chromatography and sample handling systems.
• Calibration standards management.
• Troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of analyzer shelters and safety systems.
