APC Engineer – Advanced Solutions (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking an APC Engineer to join Yokogawa in Saudi Arabia, focusing on advanced solution and optimization projects. The role involves software/hardware arrangement, installation, FAT and SAT, initially supporting control design and commissioning, with the expectation to become a lead engineer within a year.

Key responsibilities

• Study and configure advanced solution software/hardware specifications.
• Install and commission advanced solution software/hardware on site.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) with customers.
• Provide technical consultation throughout project implementation following Yokogawa’s methodology.
• Develop strong relationships with customers to identify requirements and generate new business opportunities.
• Support sales activities by preparing and presenting technical materials for proposals and client visits.
• Self‑manage tasks and travel up to 50% of the time.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in solution business or plant operation.
• Knowledge of oil and gas production, refineries or chemical plants.
• Understanding of process control, historian and DCS‑level advanced control solutions.
• Preferred experience with Yokogawa EXA package.
• Passion, patience for 24/7 step testing and remote site engineering.
• Positive learning attitude and a valid driving licence.
