Assistant Director of Sales II

About the role

The Assistant Director of Sales II supports the property’s segmented sales effort across groups, transient, association, corporate and other segments. The role helps implement sales strategies, drive revenue, and ensure guest and employee satisfaction while meeting personal booking goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies in partnership with the sales leader, including aggressive solicitation programs and promotional initiatives.
• Maximize revenue by setting personal booking goals, recommending team targets, and approving space releases for catering.
• Manage sales activities such as participating in sales calls, generating proposals, writing contracts, and supporting operational execution of booked business.
• Analyze market and financial data, assist revenue management with projections, and review guest satisfaction results to identify improvements.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by leading guest hospitality efforts, gathering feedback, and empowering staff to deliver high‑quality experiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, attending trade shows and events to strengthen key accounts.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field plus 3 years of sales/marketing experience.
• OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
