Assistant Director of Sales

About the role

As an Assistant Director of Sales you will help shape the hotel’s sales strategy while delivering memorable experiences that brighten guests’ stays. You will work closely with the commercial team to drive revenue across rooms, catering and events, and inspire a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales within a designated market segment by qualifying leads, delivering proposals and closing business to meet revenue goals.
• Contribute to the annual commercial strategy, aligning sales activities with broader business objectives.
• Represent the hotel at tradeshows, client events and sales calls, maintaining a robust pipeline of short‑ and long‑term opportunities.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, Hilton Worldwide Sales, convention bureaus and intermediaries, leading site inspections and personalized experiences.
• Align day‑to‑day team activities with strategic goals, reinforcing processes that generate revenue across rooms, catering and events.
• Monitor performance metrics and market trends, adjusting tactics to meet evolving customer needs.
• Recruit, train, supervise and mentor sales team members, conducting performance evaluations and fostering professional development.
