About the role

The Assistant Manager – Sales will lead sales and contracting activities within the travel and hospitality sector, driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction through strong supplier relationships and market insight.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with hotels, travel agencies, DMCs, OTAs and other travel service providers to secure competitive rates and exclusive offers.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies and plans to increase revenue and expand market share.
  • Guide, support and coordinate sales representatives to achieve targets and business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adjusting approaches and negotiating terms to stay competitive.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for promotional campaigns, enhancing customer engagement and brand visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while maintaining high service quality.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable commercial terms and cost‑effective agreements.
  • Manage the full contracting cycle, including drafting, reviewing and finalising agreements.
  • Develop travel products and packages tailored to client needs to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyse sales performance and business metrics, preparing reports to support strategic planning.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel or hospitality sector.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and decision‑making abilities.
  • Proven experience in sales strategy development, contracting and supplier relationship management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing business environment.
  • Good knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s geography, culture, tourism market and industry trends.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Experience with reporting tools.
