Auditor – Quality Assurance & Administration

About the role

HALA is looking for an experienced Auditor to lead its Quality Assurance & Administration functions within the Internal Audit team. The role focuses on maintaining audit quality, governance, and operational effectiveness across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development, execution, and monitoring of the annual Internal Audit Plan, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting.
• Administer and maintain the Internal Audit Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) to ensure compliance with the Internal Audit Charter, methodology, and professional standards.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of audit planning, fieldwork, working papers, observations, and reports before issuance.
• Monitor adherence to Global Internal Audit Standards (IIA), regulatory requirements, and internal policies, recommending methodological enhancements.
• Maintain and update the Internal Audit Manual, templates, risk and control libraries, and related guidance documents.
• Prepare Internal Audit reports, dashboards, KPIs, and periodic updates for senior management, the Audit Committee, and regulators.
• Administer the Internal Audit Management System (AMS) to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant audit records.
• Track implementation and closure of audit observations and regulatory findings, validating management action plans and follow‑up status.
• Coordinate internal and external quality assessments, including preparation for External Quality Assessments (EQA) and regulatory reviews.

Required profile

• Senior Auditor with proven experience in internal audit and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of IIA standards, regulatory requirements, and audit methodologies.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills to manage audit schedules and resources.
• Ability to produce clear, concise audit documentation and reports for senior stakeholders.
