Automation & AIOps Subject Matter Expert

About the role

The role provides deep technical expertise to design and implement an automation and AIOps framework, develop detailed specifications, and validate readiness for launch. After go‑live, the specialist will oversee the MSP Automation & AIOps function and ensure continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed automation specifications for fault detection, event correlation, ticket creation and remediation workflows across domains.
• Define AIOps technical specifications, including anomaly detection model requirements, training data sets and QoS degradation prediction use cases.
• Specify integration requirements between AIOps, NMS, SIEM, ITSM, and OSS/BSS systems.
• Create automation governance documentation covering change control, testing frameworks and rollback procedures.
• Support the Automation Lead with skill definition, training content and participate in testing, validation and acceptance activities.
• Define KPI measurement methodology for automation effectiveness and contribute to operational acceptance testing.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in network operations, automation engineering or AI/ML applied to operations.
• Proven expertise with AIOps platforms, automation tools and network analytics in NOC or SOC environments.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns among AIOps, NMS, SIEM and OSS/BSS, preferably in a wholesale or carrier setting.
• Analytical, data‑driven mindset with ability to develop detailed technical specifications.
