Baker Chef

About the role

Radisson Collection Residences Riyadh is looking for a Baker Chef to join its kitchen team. The role brings precision, creativity and a strong passion for baking, contributing to high-quality bakery products and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes and desserts, according to hotel standards and recipes.
• Ensure consistent quality, presentation and freshness of bakery items served across hotel outlets.
• Support the smooth operation of the bakery section within the kitchen and work closely with the culinary team to meet guest expectations and daily production needs.
• Manage assigned tasks efficiently, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of baked products.
• Assist in planning production schedules and maintain stock levels of baking ingredients.
• Monitor and minimise waste while keeping costs under control in the bakery section.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and sanitation standards, and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Continuously develop baking techniques and introduce creativity in product offerings.
• Build positive working relationships within the kitchen team.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Bakery, Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts.
• Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role in a hotel, bakery or high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, fermentation and pastry production.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP principles.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work in a fast-paced environment with good time management.
• Physical stamina for early shifts and long hours when required.
• Basic communication skills in English (preferred in hotel environments).
