Banquet Driver

About the role

The Banquet Driver supports the Guest Service team by transporting food, beverages, and equipment for banquet events. Working in a fast‑paced hotel environment, you will help create memorable experiences for guests while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Move, lift, and deliver banquet items to and from the kitchen and event spaces.
• Set up tables, chairs, linens, and service stations according to event specifications.
• Assist with cleaning work areas and returning equipment after events.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and order accuracy.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all hotel policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience; no supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move on uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb unassisted and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to follow uniform, appearance, and communication standards.

Required skills

• Physical stamina and strength for manual handling tasks.
• Basic reading ability to verify menu information.
• Team‑oriented attitude and proactive approach to guest service.
