BT Development Senior Specialist

About the role

Riyad Bank is seeking a BT Development Senior Specialist to understand business needs, develop, configure and deliver applications and systems that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Follow departmental policies, processes and standard operating procedures to ensure controlled and consistent work.
• Communicate with business units to identify and clarify their needs, analyse requirements and propose suitable technology solutions.
• Design, develop, configure and test banking BT applications in line with the bank’s architecture, ensuring alignment with business requests.
• Monitor application performance, resolve complex incidents and maintain documentation for knowledge management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and cost reduction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT engineering or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in banking technology development or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of banking operations and BT systems.
