About the role

The Cardiac Care Nurse 3 provides advanced-level nursing care within the coronary care unit, supporting operational processes and maintaining high standards of patient care. The role involves mentoring intermediate‑level nurses, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring efficient delivery of complex cardiac care.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic initiatives to improve nursing practices and patient safety.
• Develop and refine protocols that enhance operational efficiency.
• Deliver high‑quality nursing care for complex cardiac cases and manage workflow resources.
• Mentor junior nurses, precept new hires, and provide training during probation.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, evaluate patient outcomes, and document care from admission to discharge.
• Respond promptly to emergency and lifesaving situations using critical‑thinking and evidence‑based practices.
• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy medications after completing required competencies.
• Provide patient and family education while respecting privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences.

Required profile

• International Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (minimum 3 years).
• Current professional RN licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in cardiac care or a related field.
• Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.
• Core competencies: excellence, integrity, accountability, cybersecurity, person‑centered care.
• Functional competencies: infection control, medication management, patient documentation.
