Chat Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Smart Life is looking for a Chat Technical Support Engineer to join its technical team in Khobar. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering high‑quality technical assistance through chat, ensuring clients can operate our ERP and accounting solutions without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt and accurate technical support via chat, resolving user inquiries and issues.
• Lead installation, configuration, and setup of company systems for new and existing clients.
• Conduct training sessions to enable clients to use software features effectively.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Diagnose and optimise IT infrastructure and network configurations to ensure optimal performance.
• Report recurring software problems to the development team and suggest product improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of technical support experience, preferably with ERP or accounting software.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts via chat.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a 100 % remote environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Accounting Systems (ERP) workflows.
• Proficiency in IT infrastructure, software troubleshooting and networking.
• Ability to quickly learn and master proprietary software.
