Chemistry Teacher

About the role

Educates, inspires, motivates, and encourages students to develop a passion for learning and understand the importance of lifelong education in chemistry.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates personal teaching strategies, methodologies and programs to align with curriculum standards and framework guidelines.
• Participates in the preparation and development of courses of study, subject scope and sequence, teaching materials, programs, assessment methods and all school plans.
• Engages in reciprocal peer review and observation of classroom practice with the subject supervisor or head of learning.
• Attends in‑service education and training courses and pursues continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities.
• Contributes to the professional development of new teachers as agreed by the school authority.
• Provides necessary information, data, plans and documents to designated school personnel and handles requisitions related to teaching responsibilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related subject.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and organization skills.
• Strong time‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with digital education tools.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
