Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will support daily general ledger processes, ensuring accurate accounting, reporting and discrepancy resolution for the organization. This full‑time position works on‑site at our Jeddah office and collaborates closely with internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and standard operating procedure (SOP) audits.
• Perform ledger reconciliation, credit‑card ledger balancing and account balancing.
• Generate timely financial reports, presentations and period‑end statements.
• Monitor taxes, ensure accurate profit and loss documentation, and maintain strong internal controls.
• Provide guidance on accounting and budgeting policies to other departments.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (no experience required) OR a 2‑year degree with at least 2 years of finance/accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to comply with relevant federal and state regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial spreadsheet development.
