Civil Engineer – Construction Supervision

About the role

The Civil Engineer will lead technical planning and on‑site supervision of construction, building and renovation projects in the Western Region. The role ensures that all works adhere to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily on‑site supervision to guarantee compliance with approved architectural and structural drawings.
• Review and verify shop drawings, prepare quantity take‑offs (BOQ) and support progress payment certifications.
• Monitor project schedule, coordinate with planning team and liaise with consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines (electrical, mechanical).
• Apply QA/QC procedures, including Inspection Test Plans and material approvals, and enforce HSE regulations on site.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, ensuring works comply with the Saudi Building Code.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
