Civil Inspector – Riyadh (Saudi National)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Civil Inspector to join our Riyadh team, ensuring construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect site conditions before construction to verify compatibility with design and identify potential conflicts.
• Document and photograph existing properties, utilities and structures affected by construction activities.
• Review delivered materials, equipment and products for compliance with approved submittals and specifications.
• Inspect temporary and permanent works to ensure adherence to contract documents, shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Prepare daily site logs, inspection reports, test records and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Monitor site safety practices, report safety concerns promptly and support start‑up, testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum eight years of professional experience in civil construction inspection, preferably in building projects and consultant‑led environments.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations, codes and standards.
• Ability to read, interpret and analyse drawings, specifications, method statements and technical documents.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills with a focus on clear documentation.
• Physical capability to conduct regular site inspections and assessments.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in report generation software and documentation systems.
• Construction inspection methodologies and material compliance verification.
• Ability to prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain organized site documentation.
