Civil Supervisor - Maintenance (Water Utility)

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Civil Supervisor for maintenance in the water utility sector, based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The supervisor oversees and coordinates all civil maintenance activities for water utility infrastructure, covering preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance of reservoirs, pump stations, pipelines, chambers, concrete structures, buildings, drainage systems, roads and other utility assets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil maintenance activities for water utility infrastructure and facilities.
• Carry out preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance to keep operations running.
• Monitor maintenance and repair of reservoirs, pump stations, pipelines, valve chambers and drainage systems.
• Inspect concrete foundations, buildings, roads and utility networks for defects and deterioration.
• Plan, schedule and allocate manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Ensure works comply with HSE regulations, quality standards and approved engineering procedures.
• Coordinate with operations, mechanical and electrical departments during shutdowns and maintenance.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records and work progress updates, and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil maintenance within water utility or infrastructure industries.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil maintenance for pipelines, concrete structures, pump stations and utility facilities.
• Hands-on experience in preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance planning and execution.
• Good understanding of HSE standards, permit-to-work systems and quality control procedures.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, structural layouts and maintenance documentation.
• Leadership, communication, problem-solving and team coordination skills.
