Civil Team Leader - Urban Development

About the role

Surbana Jurong is looking for an experienced Civil Team Leader to lead the technical design of civil infrastructure for urban development and masterplanning projects. The role focuses on delivering coordinated engineering solutions across roads, grading, drainage and utilities, in line with design standards and authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil infrastructure design for urban development, masterplanning and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the technical design of roads, highways, grading, stormwater drainage and wet and dry utilities.
• Review engineering drawings, design calculations, specifications and technical reports for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, design codes and local authority requirements.
• Coordinate civil design with multidisciplinary engineering teams and resolve complex design issues.
• Oversee deliverables across concept, preliminary and detailed design stages.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in civil infrastructure design for urban development, masterplanning or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience reviewing and delivering civil engineering drawings, calculations, specifications and design reports.
• Experience coordinating civil design with other engineering disciplines.

Required skills

• Strong technical expertise in roads, highways, grading, stormwater drainage and wet and dry utilities.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design standards, codes and authority requirements.
