Clinical Resource Nurse

About the role

The Clinical Resource Nurse serves as a clinical expert and resource person within Fakeeh Care, providing educational support, competency training, and consultation to improve patient outcomes and optimise nursing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with clinical orientation and mentor new nurses to meet competency standards.
• Provide expert consultation on complex clinical issues, treatment plans, and patient‑care strategies.
• Assess specialty‑based educational needs and deliver workshops, training sessions and specialty educational programmes.
• Evaluate clinical practices and patient‑care processes, ensuring adherence to Fakeeh Care policies, clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the quality‑improvement team to develop and implement strategies for safety and outcome improvement.
• Assist in the development, review and revision of clinical guidelines, protocols and policies.
• Monitor and report on clinical metrics, patient outcomes and staff performance.
• Coordinate continuous professional development activities and staff training on medical equipment.
• Act as an EMR/Nursing Informatics resource and support transition‑to‑practice, RN residency and student clinical training programmes.
• Support nursing research, participate in CME activities and perform other tasks within the scope of the role.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, educate and provide expert consultation to nursing staff.
• Strong knowledge of clinical guidelines, policies and regulatory standards.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Ability to evaluate clinical practices and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR systems and nursing informatics.
• Experience delivering education and training on medical equipment.
• Ability to develop and revise clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Competence in monitoring and reporting clinical metrics.
