Cloud Solutions Architect - Alliances

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join its Alliances team. You will work with major partners such as Intel, Nvidia, Google, Dell, HP, Accenture and Tata to help them adopt Canonical’s open‑source platform across public and private cloud, AI/ML, and edge environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support OEM, global system integrators, independent software vendors, channel and public‑cloud partners in adopting Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define joint go‑to‑market programs from a technical perspective.
• Provide expert answers to partner and customer questions covering the full open‑source stack.
• Contribute to field engineering activities that enable enterprise adoption of cloud‑native solutions.

Required profile

• Strong background in open‑source cloud platforms (Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
• Experience working with hardware manufacturers, system integrators, ISVs or public‑cloud alliances.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for partners.
• Willingness to engage with global partners and adapt to a distributed, remote‑first work environment.
