About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Commercial Contract Manager to own the full contract lifecycle, from pre‑sales strategy and negotiation to post‑sales execution and governance. You will protect the company’s commercial and financial interests while delivering best‑in‑class agreements for customers across a range of technologies and solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead commercial negotiations together with legal, sales and cross‑functional teams.
  • Develop and execute deal‑specific contracting strategies aligned with business and financial objectives.
  • Proactively assess commercial risks and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Manage contract execution, compliance, change control and dispute resolution.
  • Drive measurable outcomes such as improved contract terms, risk mitigation and upsell contribution.
  • Prepare renewal and renegotiation strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Embed contract strategy into account planning and long‑term commercial roadmaps.
  • Build commercial tools including pricing models and negotiation playbooks.
  • Collaborate with global teams on contracting for emerging offerings like cloud, private networks and AI‑driven solutions.
  • Use data and analytics to support critical business decisions.

Required profile

  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
  • 7–12 years of experience in contract or commercial management.
  • Proven experience negotiating complex ICT hardware, software and services contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance risk and business value.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams across sales, delivery, legal and finance.
  • Experience working in international, multicultural environments.
  • IACCM/WorldCC certification is a plus.
