Commercial Financial Controller

About the role

The Commercial Financial Controller will lead financial planning, budgeting, cost management and reporting for the factory, ensuring accurate cost allocation and compliance with accounting standards to drive profitability and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgets, accounts and financial operations across production units, coordinating annual and long‑term operating and capital budgets.
• Oversee product costing, bill of materials, inventory valuation and cost‑center allocations, ensuring accurate cost reporting.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, depreciation schedules and capital‑expenditure tracking, distinguishing capital from operational expenses.
• Support financial forecasting, profitability analysis of product lines and variance analysis between budgeted and actual results.
• Monitor production cost efficiency, identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards and supervise year‑end closing.
