Commis - Kitchen Assistant

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Commis to join its culinary team in Riyadh. The Commis supports the smooth running of the kitchen department, which delivers the guest dining experience across the whole hotel, and works within a team focused on guest satisfaction and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Support the kitchen department and deliver a positive, timely response to enquiries and problem resolution
• Take responsibility for assigned duties and complete them in a timely, professional manner
• Deliver on departmental plans and objectives so that hotel initiatives and targets are achieved
• Work with the immediate supervisor to control costs and inventory and attain productivity and performance levels
• Build effective working relationships and promote the company culture and values
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and best practice, with documentation for internal and external audits and follow-up as required

Required profile

• Prior kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for hospitality
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment demanding excellence
