Commissioning Engineer – Industrial Steam Turbines (Entry Level)

About the role

As an entry‑level Instrumentation & Control Commissioning Engineer you will join Siemens Energy’s Transformation of Industry division, supporting the commissioning of industrial steam turbine systems. You will work on‑site, learning from experienced engineers while contributing to safe and reliable turbine operation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in performing I&C commissioning activities for assigned steam turbine systems.
• Use Siemens PCS7 and T3000 for control optimisation, troubleshooting and documentation.
• Follow site regulations, EHS requirements and PTW/RFFE procedures to maintain safety standards.
• Develop skills as an Electrically Skilled Person to ensure safe working conditions.
• Participate in system walk‑downs, hand‑over processes and support the issuance of Erection Clearance Certificates.
• Help create I&C instructions for abnormal situations and prepare commissioning documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or control engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office for documentation and communication.
• Strong command of English; willingness to learn additional languages.
• Enthusiasm for travel and extended periods abroad.
• Self‑motivated, quality‑oriented and able to work effectively in multicultural teams.
