Construction Manager

About the role

WSP is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on‑site supervision of large‑scale infrastructure projects across roads, utilities, drainage and public realm works. The role offers the chance to work on landmark developments in the GCC region while contributing to high‑quality, standards‑compliant construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage on‑site construction supervision for infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, public realm, etc.).
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and enforce adherence to project schedules.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site teams on a daily basis.
• Review and approve method statements, work plans, and construction schedules.
• Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures on site.
• Conduct inspections, review test results and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and Saudi codes/regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure construction and supervision, including large‑scale roads, utilities and urban development projects.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure works.
• Experience working in Riyadh or the GCC region is highly preferred.
