Construction Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead civil, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical works on a high‑profile oil & gas EPC project for Saudi Aramco. The role requires full ownership of construction execution, quality, health‑safety‑environment (HSE) compliance and coordination with subcontractors, vendors and Aramco representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site construction activities and ensure alignment with Aramco standards (SAES, SAIC, SAMSS) and international codes (API, ASME, NFPA, IEC, IEEE).
• Develop and implement execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation; monitor progress against the baseline and report daily, weekly and monthly.
• Lead coordination with subcontractors, vendors and site engineers, conduct daily meetings, identify risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Review IFC drawings, resolve design‑site conflicts, and oversee quality control, NCR resolution and pre‑commissioning readiness.
• Enforce HSE requirements, manage permit‑to‑work systems and maintain site housekeeping.
• Act as the primary liaison between the construction team, project management and Aramco, supporting commissioning and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience on Saudi Aramco EPC projects in a Construction Manager or higher role, with at least three to four approved CM assignments.
• Strong ability to differentiate scope of work from variations and to manage close‑out procedures.
• Demonstrated competence in identifying and resolving design conflicts and site‑condition issues.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Aramco standards: SAES, SAIC, SAMSS.
• Knowledge of international codes: API, ASME, NFPA, IEC, IEEE.
• Construction management of civil, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical disciplines.
• Schedule development, resource planning and progress monitoring.
