Contracting Director

About the role

UmrahBookings is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its hotel contracting strategy across Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Contracting Director will drive the expansion of the hotel portfolio for Umrah travel, building high‑value partnerships and leading a dedicated contracting team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the hotel contracting strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
• Negotiate exclusive commercial agreements and competitive rates with hotel owners and operators in Makkah, Madinah and other key destinations.
• Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing Contracting Department, setting KPIs and overseeing performance reviews.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and supplier performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance and Operations to ensure seamless onboarding of new hotel partners.
• Continuously improve contracting processes, systems and workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of senior experience in hospitality, including hotel contracting and commercial leadership.
• Proven track record of leading contracting teams and managing large hotel portfolios.
• Strong network within the Saudi hospitality sector, especially in Makkah and Madinah.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and strategic planning abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic highly desirable.
