Cost Controller – Hospitality (Saudi National)

About the role

SLS The Red Sea is looking for a Cost Controller to safeguard the resort’s financial performance. You will monitor expenses, control inventory and provide cost insights across all departments, especially Food & Beverage, while supporting the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily costs and expenses across hotel departments, with a focus on F&B operations.
• Review and analyse food and beverage costs, consumption, wastage and inventory movement.
• Conduct regular inventories, stock counts, transfers and spoilage reports.
• Compare actual costs against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Procurement to review purchase prices, purchase orders and supplier cost information.
• Audit storeroom procedures, consumption records and internal transfers for accurate cost allocation.
• Work with Culinary and F&B teams on recipe costing, portion control and menu cost analysis.
• Prepare periodic cost reports covering food cost, beverage cost, inventory movement and other operational indicators.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and strengthen cost‑control practices.
• Support month‑end closing activities, including inventory valuation, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant experience in cost control, preferably within hospitality or a similar environment.
