Cost Engineer - Oil & Gas Projects

About the role
Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Cost Engineer to support oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia. The role covers cost estimating, cost control, budgeting and supporting project teams through all phases of execution. The workplace is on site.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates for feasibility, FEED and EPC phases
- Develop and manage project cost budgets and forecasts
- Monitor cost performance, identify variances and recommend corrective actions
- Support contract evaluations, bid analysis and change management
- Prepare cost reports, cash flow projections and KPIs
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement and planning teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or a related field
- 3+ years of cost engineering experience in upstream and/or downstream projects
- Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills
Required skills
- Estimating methods, cost control tools and project management concepts
- Excel and cost management software such as SAP, Primavera and AACE practices
