Customer Relations Representative

About the role

As a Customer Relations Representative at FLSmidth, you will act as the primary liaison between the company and its strategic customers, ensuring service expectations are consistently met or exceeded. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate customer feedback into actionable improvements that support a sustainable future.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for supply and service issues with designated strategic customers.
• Lead regular onsite meetings to gather feedback, review KPIs and SLAs, and drive collaborative solutions.
• Capture and integrate customer insights into internal demand planning and execution processes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Repairs, Field Services, and Supply Chain to identify service gaps and promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain contractual obligations, monitor risks, and ensure both parties fulfil commitments.
• Analyse demand trends, stock levels, and parts consumption to improve forecast accuracy.
• Present service metrics and performance insights to customers during review sessions.
• Represent the customer perspective in internal operational planning and strategy development.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build trust‑based relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and conveying customer requirements.
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting operational and forecast data.
• Ability to align internal teams around customer objectives and manage complex service networks.
• Experience tracking and improving KPIs and SLAs.
• Customer‑centric problem‑solving approach.
