Data Science Assistant Manager

About the role

The Data Science Assistant Manager will lead the design and delivery of cross‑functional analytics solutions that empower business units to make data‑driven decisions. This role oversees the allocation of advanced analytics resources and ensures that dashboards, reports, predictive models, and real‑time tools are aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Select and lead a SWAT team of advanced analytics experts and data scientists to address cross‑sector and executive‑level requests.
• Facilitate collaboration between the SWAT team and business‑unit insight specialists to provide additional capacity or guidance.
• Allocate analytical resources to meet complex and standardized analytics requests from BUs/FUs.
• Identify, propose, and prioritize analytics use cases based on available data and business impact.
• Ensure projects are executed with a focus on value creation for the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields.
• Prior experience in telecommunications, financial services (information products) or e‑commerce.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Senior‑level mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
