Data Scientist I – AI & Fraud Detection

About the role

Mozn is a fast‑growing Enterprise AI company focused on financial crime prevention and knowledge intelligence. As a Data Scientist I you will help build analytical and AI‑driven solutions that detect fraud, support AML initiatives, and explore generative AI use cases, working under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and testing of fraud detection, AML and Generative AI use cases.
• Assist in building, prompting and evaluating ML and GenAI models, including RAG pipelines.
• Prepare, clean and analyse both structured and unstructured data sets.
• Help train, evaluate and deploy machine‑learning models.
• Experiment with large language models for document analysis, alert summarisation or data enrichment.
• Execute assigned tasks within project plans under supervision.
• Stay updated on industry trends in fraud, AML and Generative AI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Basic understanding of machine‑learning concepts and exposure to Generative AI or LLMs.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
