Demand Planning Analyst (Oracle Fusion)

About the role

The Demand Planning Analyst will own the creation and maintenance of demand forecasts and translate approved demand signals into distribution and replenishment plans for finished‑goods. Working with Oracle Fusion Demand Planning, the role supports product availability, inventory health and S&OP decision‑making across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain demand forecasts using sales history, trends, promotions, seasonality and business inputs.
• Analyze forecast changes, accuracy, bias and volatility; document major assumptions and risks for planning reviews.
• Use Oracle Fusion Demand Planning to generate, adjust and validate forecasts, maintaining planning parameters and item‑location data.
• Translate approved demand into distribution and replenishment requirements, reviewing safety stock, order quantities and inventory targets.
• Monitor stock availability, shortages, excess and slow‑moving inventory; recommend actions to improve service level and inventory utilization.
• Prepare inputs for Demand Review, Supply/Distribution Review, Pre‑S&OP and Executive S&OP meetings and align with Sales, Finance, Logistics and IT stakeholders.
• Produce reports and dashboards on forecast accuracy, service level, stock availability and inventory health using Excel and Power BI.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of forecast errors or replenishment deviations and drive continuous improvement of planning processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Technology or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory or supply‑chain planning.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Demand Planning.
• Experience in retail, distribution, FMCG or multi‑location inventory environments is strongly preferred.
