Demi Chef – Turkish Cuisine

About the role

Join Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah as a Demi Chef specializing in Turkish cuisine. You will work in a 5‑star environment that blends local traditions with French hospitality, delivering authentic Turkish dishes to discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Turkish dishes according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Keep the assigned kitchen section clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Monitor food stock levels, support inventory control, and ensure proper storage.
• Minimize food waste and help control costs.
• Follow all health, safety, and HACCP procedures.
• Coordinate with other kitchen and service team members.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Turkish cuisine within hotels or restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of authentic Turkish cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.
• Fluent English communication skills; Turkish language highly preferred.
• Culinary certification or equivalent training.
