Design Engineer

About the role

The Design Engineer will create engineering designs, technical drawings and calculations to support the manufacturing of truck bodies. Working closely with production, quality and stores, the role ensures that all products meet approved specifications, engineering standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering designs and technical drawings for truck bodies and related applications.
• Conduct technical inspections of chassis and vehicles.
• Perform load distribution calculations and verify engineering designs.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects.
• Select appropriate hydraulic, mechanical and other components based on project needs.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Stores and other departments to support project execution.
• Assist in the development of new products and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support to production teams and evaluate warranty or service issues.

Required profile

• Saudi national (as stated in the posting).
• Full‑time availability for on‑site work at the company’s facilities.
• At least minimal practical experience in engineering design (approximately 1 month as indicated).
