DevOps & Database Administrator (DevOps Specialist)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps & Database Administrator to design, automate and maintain robust infrastructure and database platforms. The role combines cloud operations, container orchestration and real‑time data streaming to ensure high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server) including performance tuning, backup, replication and disaster recovery.
• Deploy, monitor and scale Kubernetes clusters and Docker‑based applications.
• Configure and operate Apache Kafka and Kafka Connect for event‑driven data pipelines.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible and Helm charts.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Apply security best practices, RBAC, encryption and DevSecOps standards.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable releases and system performance.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with database administration and performance optimisation.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes, Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with Apache Kafka and CI/CD tooling.
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
