DevOps Engineer

About the role

Balance coding/automation with operating systems to handle IT operations from a software‑engineering perspective. As a Site Reliability Engineer you will ensure availability, latency, performance, efficiency, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and translate them into application features.
• Write high‑quality source code, perform unit, integration, functional and non‑functional testing.
• Apply CI/CD pipelines and GitOps concepts throughout the software development lifecycle while ensuring compliance with security and change‑management regulations.
• Build software that automates repetitive operations tasks.
• Manage system logging, monitoring, alerts and plan for failure mitigation.
• Operate and maintain system reliability, troubleshoot applications and provide on‑call support.
• Harden CI/CD processes to enable faster, reliable product releases.
• Conduct full‑stack troubleshooting across network, application, hardware and other layers.
• Document incidents, create knowledge‑base articles and build self‑service guides.
• Develop tools and services that enable engineering teams to deliver operationally mature services.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles.
• Team‑player with up‑to‑date knowledge of enterprise solution trends.
• Basic understanding of application architecture and web API security.
• Analytical mindset and continuous learning attitude.
• Extensive experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Go or PHP.
• Awareness of databases and object storage concepts.
• Strong debugging, optimisation and full‑stack troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Git, GitOps and agile practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least one cloud‑engineering certification.
