DevOps Engineer (Mid-Level)

About the role

The team is looking for a mid‑level DevOps Engineer to own CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code and observability on Google Cloud. You will help migrate VM‑based deployments to Kubernetes while keeping all environments secure, automated and compliant with regulatory controls.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and GitHub Actions for zero‑downtime deployments.
• Extend the GitOps delivery path with Kustomize overlays, image promotion and automated reconciliation.
• Support the parallel migration to Kubernetes, ensuring both deployment paths remain healthy.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) across all environments with reviewed plans and shared modules.
• Operate containerised workloads: ingress, resource limits, autoscaling and troubleshooting failed rollouts.
• Extend observability by adding structured logging, metrics, dashboards and alerting, moving toward full Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging coverage.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering with production ownership of shared infrastructure.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as IAM, GKE, Artifact Registry and Compute Engine.
• Proven experience running Kubernetes in production, including deployments, ingress and resource management.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment, managing time autonomously and delivering on short timelines.
