Director, Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will be the strategic steward of Faena Wadi Safar’s financial health, overseeing all finance operations from pre‑opening through ongoing operations. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with ownership, the role ensures transparency, accuracy, compliance and commercial excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Lead pre‑opening financial planning, including budgets, CAPEX allocation and operational forecasting.
• Establish financial systems, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Oversee accurate IFRS‑based financial reporting and ensure compliance with Saudi laws, tax obligations and audit requirements.
• Partner with department heads to monitor budgets, cost centers and operational performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Saudi accounting standards and local tax regulations.
• Ability to translate financial insight into strategic decisions for senior leadership.
