Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance acts as the strategic financial business leader for the property, shaping and executing finance‑focused strategies that support the brand’s service objectives and deliver strong financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement property‑wide financial strategies aligned with brand and business goals.
• Lead the creation of the annual operating budget and provide analytical support during budget reviews.
• Forecast sales, expenses and wages, compare actual performance to projections, and identify cost‑saving and productivity opportunities.
• Implement and maintain robust accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and manage business risks.
• Analyse financial data and market trends to produce accurate forecasts and support operational decision‑making.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, communicating strategic goals and fostering sound financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with at least 1 year of experience.
