Director of Quality Assurance

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to lead and enhance quality management systems across its entertainment projects. The role will define strategic QA plans, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA and compliance strategies across multiple projects and operational areas, aligned with corporate strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the QA team, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
• Establish quality metrics, audit processes, and performance indicators to monitor compliance and effectiveness.
• Own the annual assurance program and maintain a compliance framework for the business unit and projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and external partners to embed quality objectives throughout project delivery.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify risks, non‑conformities, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on quality performance, challenges, and recommendations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance issues and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with emerging trends, technological advances, and regulatory changes affecting QA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in quality assurance, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing QMS in large‑scale projects or organisations.
• Strong knowledge of international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with internal and external compliance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Certifications such as ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence are a plus.
