Director of Sales and Marketing (Arabic Speaker Preferred)

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for an accomplished Director of Sales and Marketing to lead its sales and marketing operations in Turaif, Saudi Arabia. The position is based at the Mövenpick Hotel Waad Al Shamal. Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred, and the candidate must be willing to work and live in Turaif.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market opportunities in the Saudi Arabian region
• Lead, mentor and manage sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
• Analyze market trends, competition and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
• Oversee budget management and P&L responsibility, allocating resources efficiently
• Design and run marketing campaigns using digital channels, traditional media and other approaches
• Set and monitor KPIs, review performance regularly and recommend improvements
• Build relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders, and collaborate with product, operations and customer service teams
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies

Required profile

• Minimum 8+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share expansion
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams
• Experience in business development and in adapting marketing programs to different customer segments
• Fluency in Arabic (preferred), with knowledge of Saudi business culture; experience in the Middle East or with international organizations (preferred)
• Willingness to work and reside in Turaif
