About the role

The Dispatcher will oversee daily B2B transportation operations for JD Logistics, ensuring that line‑haul activities meet service level agreements and customer expectations. This role works closely with distribution stations, vendors, and internal teams to keep shipments moving smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily B2B transportation operations, ensuring compliance with agreed service levels (SLAs).
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate line‑haul transportation activities to meet operational and customer requirements.
• Track in‑transit line‑haul shipments and proactively resolve delays to ensure on‑time delivery performance.
• Coordinate with Distribution Station (DS) teams to align loading schedules, unloading activities, and ETA updates.
• Liaise with transportation vendors and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution of daily operations.
• Monitor vendor performance through KPIs, prepare operational reports, and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, and Warehouse to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transportation efficiency and customer satisfaction.
