About the role

The Senior Specialist in Digital Transformation (DT) Project Management will design, develop and deploy manufacturing‑oriented digital projects for Lenovo. The role involves backend development, web front‑end creation, and driving AI‑enabled innovations to improve production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing‑oriented digital solutions, including backend services using Python or Java for RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
• Build and optimize web interfaces with Vue and React, creating data dashboards for operational insight.
• Lead technical selection for core modules, resolve complex issues, and enforce coding standards across the team.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior and mid‑level developers, and elevate overall code quality.
• Construct and maintain a technical middle‑platform, enhancing development efficiency through automated tools and DevOps practices.
• Explore and integrate cutting‑edge technologies such as AI, large‑language models, Machine Learning, and RPA into manufacturing scenarios to drive automation and digital innovation.
